it is even worse if you just look at his recent starts. 16 earned runs in 9 2/3 innings in his last three starts for a 14.90 ERA, compared to a 3.21 ERA in his first three starts.

Also, as bad as out starting pitching woes have been, Atlanta's have been worse. Tommy Milone is their 11th starter this season. He was doing OK by Orioles standards in the AL East, but was shellacked in his first Braves start.

So we're running out Trea Turner, Howie Kendrick, Yan Gomes, and Triple A

The advantage of Turner not batting in front of Soto.  SB more likely

Cabrera is absolute trash
He was trash with the Phillies when they obtained him at the trade deadline in 2018. Just be happy that he produced so well for the Nats in 2019.  His lack of production does not matter this year.

the Nats could have picked someone up sitting on a bus bench who could pitch better than this clod....someone forgot to tell him that he is not throwing batting practice

I forgot these double-headers were seven-inning affairs. I was thinking that in an alternate universe, Voth could settle down and pitch a complete game and actually lower his ERA. No chance of that, even in the best of all possible worlds.

Is the crowd sound just for TV or is it in the Park also.  Either way, I hate it.
