Michigan isn’t a powerhouse anymore- times change and programs rose and fade, why should we care if statuses aren’t perpetually locked on some arbitrary date?
Unless you're an Ohio State fan, you should care that there's no drama to who wins the Big Ten year in, year out. I suppose I'm OK with Michigan continuing to suck if Indiana suddenly becomes a powerhouse or something, but right now there's one good team in the conference.
