I figured this was the one game on the schedule they might win.
Do they play Rutgers?  Oh wait, Schiano is back.

Michigan is legit

This often appears to be the case at the beginning of the year. I'll believe it when they can beat OSU.

Wisconsin cancels game with Nebraska because the state has too many COVID cases.

My inner cynic tells me it’s because the QB has it

I don’t think they are worried about the fans. The BIG should have just stuck with their original decision.

I wonder if the NFL will be able to finish its season given how the virus numbers are going up so much.

It's a leap to assume the NFL cares about the health of its players or coaches. I'd expect owners to stay far away from offices, but that's about it

But more players will catch it and games will be postponed.  MLB caught the downswing of the virus but NFL will be catching the upswing. I think the Texans closed their facilities today.

I put $2 on Maryland at the half last night for them to win. Then turned it off when they feel behind by 17.  I was amazed when I just looked at the score.

So how much did that return?

Have to look it up. I think about $5.50.

Clemson barely scrapes out a win against BC without Trevor Lawrence. Michigan loses to Michigan State.

Quite a game in Charlottesville. Don’t think anybody saw that result coming.

Doesn't UVA have a string of wins over UNC?

This was the fourth in a row, but UNC were 8-point favorites and UVA hadn’t been playing well this year coming off winning the division and going to the Orange Bowl last year.

I thought they joined for basketball but were independent for football?

They have been sort of linked for a few years.  Since conferences were mostly playing all conference schedules this year they didn't have much of a choice but to sign up full time.  I think the plan is they go back to their previous status in 2021.

The deal to allow them to join for all sports except football and hockey (the ACC doesn’t sponsor hockey anyway) requires them to play five games per year against ACC opponents. In normal years, they’re not eligible for the ACC Championship Game or for the conference's Orange Bowl bid, though they have some sort of access to the ACC's other bowl games.

This year, because of the pandemic, they are competing as a full conference member in football.
