Coastal Carolina and BYU was a hell of a game. You could not have scripted that any better. Imagine a future in which teams have a flex week on their calendar, which is filled by an out-of-conference game scheduled by an algorithm in an attempt to get closely-matched teams from different conferences playing each other. It might be one of the only realistic ways teams like Coastal Carolina can play a tough enough schedule to get voter attention.
