There really should be some sort of statistical adjustment for games played at Fenway.
projected distance 391' for the Suzuki single if it had been a normal wall.

actually, there's a ton for advanced stats, but mostly on defense.  I think they also do adjustments for doubles, too.

oh, I don't usually mind the dingers as long as it is 1 and it is solo. I figure it is the price you pay for him being aggressive.

No reason to send Scherzer back out. Perfect game for Doolittle.

Agreed. Which means he’s going back out.

No reason for Finn, Rainey, or Hudson to be pitching

I think they want to hand over fewer innings to the mop up guys.  You might see Suero for the 8th and Doo for teh 9th.

Definite Doolittle spot. Suero looks set for the 8th.

That's because the roads were planned by cows on their way to pasture on Boston Common.

Now I am somewhat less concerned who pitches the final innings.

Question about the seats. When MAT was in the warmup circle there were a number of seats, all red, behind him that had a green slat with the B logo. Know what they signify?

This is the third f'ing time in 10 minutes I have been interrupted by the same f'ing weather alert. Is this a Cox Communications thing or do others here in the DC area have the same thing?
