Is Touki one of the only Haitian or Haitian-American players in MLB?

Great question. So weird the DR and Haiti share an island but only one part so far has produced a bunch of major leaguers.

Are they going to have to give a cardboard fan some cardboard stuff to get the ball back?

I recall reading somewhere that most MLB baseballs came from Haiti.  Who knew that Rawlings and les Ton Tons Macoutes did business.

But that was a) years ago and b) probably not true.

Nice!

This strike zone seems wide. I guess they are adjusting.

Need to start having good at bats with the lead.   Get into that bullpen early.

In all fairness, pretty much all of the food on Hispanola is on the eastern side.  Bit of a handicap

I had also heard that, but Wikipedia says the current MLB ball is made in Costa Rica.

I am somewhat more surprised by the lack of more Haitian-American players. My high school in Palm Beach County, for example, has long had both a strong baseball program and a large Haitian population. It seems like there should be other South Florida schools similarly situated. Minor bit of trivia: signs in my old school are now quadrilingual - English, Spanish, Creole and Mayan.
