Very hopeful for Garcia.  Hoping we can get his lefty bat in the 2 hole next year and decline Eaton's $10.5 mil option

False.

In his nats career (1200 PAs) he has an OPS+ of 106.  That's terrible for a corner of.  Now you'd think his defense would make up for it but no.  He's had a negative dWAR every year with the nats.  Last year (his only year of more than 95 games with us) he was only worth 1.5 WAR.  Not worth the money

I'd like to see the team get massively younger without losing quality.

Eaton is fine if you have Rendon and Soto in the lineup and some production from 1B.  Now his lack of power seems more noticeable.

That's why I'm rooting for the Orioles in 2020.

Tommy Milone, he's had an amazing run of being in MLB since his debut with the Nats in 2011

Cespedes, Springer, and Brantley are all FAs.  Plus there's the trade market.

Isn't that what every team wants to do?  Doesn't seem they have enough prospects to do that.  Best thing might be to just tank after this year.

he fits fine if you make up the Slg at c ss and 2b.his obp is fine, and I will discount d a bit before last year due to owies.

Hes a 113 wRC+ the last two seasons. And he was a 2+ WAR player last season. 10.5 million is a good deal considering the team has no OF prospects
