I like that new good ol' boy O's analyst.  He knows the game and isn't annoying like Santagelo.
I have his rookie card somewhere.

With strasburg having the nerve issue, Anibal pitching like crap, and the unproven both and fedde filling out the rotation, maybe we'll see the nats get aggressive and get Rutledge up here

We'll compare Garcia and Eaton after the season.  Don't worry Natsinpwc.  Don't you worry
I’m just thankful you are not in charge and Rizzo is. Oh wait. Are the Lerners going to let him walk?

Well, another chance tonight for Fedde to prove himself.

How many staring pitchers have lost two games in one day.

Well yes.  It makes sense that a guy brought up in the game, has worked extensively in the game, and done well in the game is running the team.  What's your point?

Assuming a loss, would Stras be treated as the pitcher of record after facing only 2-3 batters? Or would the official scorer treat it like an opener situation, and pick Fedde or someone else as pitcher of record?

Told y’all Stras needed to be shut down.  And so many of you scoffed.

Give credit where credit is due, since people were knocking on Gomes earlier today. That was a nice clutch two-out hit.

But the team's executives thought he should be run out there.  I thought we were supposed to trust the team rather than the fans?

Wilson Ramos would have had to slide into 2nd...

Let's hope the Nats make the post season and Stras is better by the end of September.

It might not take that long. But how can someone pitch effectively with tingling in his fingers let alone think that's good for the long haul.

Thames wouldn't have made it past 3rd base.

Turner and Eaton are so unimposing. Turner is especially disappointing. The guy doesn’t even steal bases anymore.
Now is time to time to run

I think Shawn Kelley had tingling in his fingers on multiple occasions and just worked through it.  Of course I'm not trying to compare their value.
