Does Kieboom have any real pop in terms of power? 16 HRs in the PCL (a hitter's "heaven") isn't impressive. Especially, not for a 3B.
He slugged .493 in Fresno. I don't think he has much power putting it over the wall, but I can see him being a guy who wears out the gap and develops 20-25 homer power. That is enough if he ends up having a good glove.

lets speculate more on Lance Lynn:

I hate Lance Lynn, mostly because he f'd over my fantasy team when he first went to the Twins in the AL.

Texas will get a haul for him.

No one is getting a haul for anyone this year.  Its only a month.

That's fine.  Still not getting a haul.  He is due to turn back into a pumpkin.

He has pretty decent raw power.  I remember seeing him hit one over the scoreboard in Frederick when he was in A-ball off an off-speed pitch.  It's just a matter of barreling it and hitting the ball in the air, both of which have been challenges at the MLB level.

Correct. But occasionally you ship out a Guzman as a salary dump and get a Roark. Mostly, him leaving opens up plate appearances for other players.

Jarrod Dyson (he with an OPS+ of 6 this year) just netted $240,000 of international bonus money in a deal.  Wish we'd do moves like that

the mistake with Dyson is to put a bat in his hands at this point.  Pinch run and then play defense.

Dyson was acquired to ensure that this does not happen in the late innings of a close game:

Teams have called and made offers on Howie Kendrick, Kurt Suzuki, Asdrubal Cabrera and others. But the Nats have never been in sell mode, and they aren’t now.

No idea who wants our clutter, but Rizzo is a fool if he doesn't trade them.

Of course a GM is never going to say he is in sell mode. So there is still hope.

Then they wont sell. You wont shed payroll worth a damn and even an opening round loss brings in big money.

A good GM wouldn't sell when the team is developing or close to top contending.

Ok. This team isn't either of those things.

Without Strasburg and with Rendon gone they really have no chance in the post season even if they did slip into the playoffs.  Selling in a year like this is how you help rebuild a weak farm system. The cardboard cutouts will understand.

Yeah. He wasn’t afraid to sell in 18. Anyone other than Turner, Robles, Soto, and Garcia should be available.
