Weather forecast for Flushing is 45%-50% chance of scattered thunderstorms until around 5 to 6 p.m., so chance of rain delays. But, for now, play ball!

Great catch by Jeff McNeil, but it looks like he injured his knee colliding with the wall.

It's starting to look like Kieboom is platooning with Thames, with Kieboom getting the lefties and A-Cab playing 1st.  Kendrick is looking like the primary DH, probably with an occasional 1st base appearance if Thames is DH'ng against a righty.

Billy Hamilton in the line-up in place of McNeil.

I am fine with Howie getting as many at bats as possible and getting into a groove. I'd like Thames to get into a groove, too, though.

Having Zimmerman in the roster would have helpful TBH.

Absolutely atrocious umping the last three games.  All three of those umps should be heavily chastised for being total crap.

And now warnings, meaning the Mets got a free shot.

I would not hit a Met unless we want to pull a reliever who has faced less than 3 batters.

Hitting the other team's best player because you're annoyed at the ump is so, so Mets.

Seth Romero could greatly endear himself to his new teammates with a fastball square in Alonso's back

So in the past two games, Robles and Freeman have both died, in addition to Doolittle?  Is that right?

Now Bob is speculating that it might be in response to J.D. Davis getting hit. A. When did that happen? B. Was that intentional?

So we got a run in the first, and did not get a hit until the fifth. How often does that happen?
