Robles and Harrison should be flipped in the lineup

I think Davey likes Robles as a "second leadoff" hitter in front of Turner when the order comes around again. This is a common strategy in the AL. Gardner did it for years. You have your best baserunners in a row this way. Harrison has a bit of pop, but also you might PH Thames for him once a righty is in.

Gives the Robles a bit of protection too.  Last thing you want is a young, developing hitter to be 7 or 8 and not see any pitches.

Don't you lose the DH in the lineup if you PH for him?  Doesn't the pitcher have to assume that spot in the BO?

EDIT:  Maybe not...only when the DH takes up a position on defense...

You may also lose the dh if the pitcher moves to fielder spot, but I am not sure. Certainly if he then goes back and pitches

If you want to compare what a decent arm in left field looks like -- it's Smith for the Orioles.

Are the nats really this bad? Or do they think they can just coast to the playoffs?

Do you think the fact that Strasburg has not pitched this year and that Max left his last start in inning one has negatively impacted the record?  I do.

Sanchez is not a stopper or a #2.They really do need Strasburg and an effective Scherzer.

I also expect both Kieboom and Robles to move up in the order for September.
