This is the kind of offensive performance you get from lineups that have Starlin freaking Castro as the #3 hitter.

You mean the same Starlin Castro that came into the game hitting .379 and OPS'ing .917?

I think it's 90% mental and the other half is physical...

Lost power due to storms for a few.  I take it the Nats lost?

Yeah, the one with a decade in the league and a .734 OPS in 6200 plate appearances.  Sorry If I'm not buying that his crap don't stink after he actually hits well for a week.

Terrible loss.   My question is why is the guy hitting .455 with a .585 OBP on the bench.

On Starlin Castro's...well, Vark might be able to help you out there.  He will realize eventually that Starlin Castro sucks, but it may take time.

As opposed to one with a.619 ops and an iron glove.
Though I get it they need to see what they have.

I will, eventually.  It's not you, it's him.  Why is it that good teams keep getting rid of him?

Yeah, I get that - on both guys.  It's not like they have a surfeit of options at 2B, but Castro's a 6 or 7 hitter and that's where he should be.

I still think he's having trouble coming to grips with playing at all...I don't think his heart is in it.

Of course, as is often the case, I could be wrong...
Last year he had his highest era in his 10 year career. So just may be done.
Though hope I’m wrong.
