Given that the Marlins‘ hijinks caused the postponements and added to an already ridiculous situation, just chalk up another reason to leave this bizarro asterisk of an exercise in the dust

The teams that caused the postponements should have forfeited. Same with these college football games.

And the NBA games. It was in solidarity with the NBA mostly that the Philheads postponed that game 3.

That does it for this abbreviated 60 game season. It was pretty weird but fun in some ways. A disappointment of a season finishing tied for last place with the Mets. OK technically it's 4th of 5 but it is still LAST. This coming after an amazing Championship Season last year. The first losing season in 9 years. This team had 8 straight :w: inning Seasons following 6 losing seasons and an .500 inaugural season. The last losing season 2011 was one game short of being a possible .500 season or another straight out losing season. That brings us to a season win/loss of 8-7-1. I don't know what that breaks down into percentages but it is OK to pretty good. NOT great but OK.

Next season hopefully will be a regular full season where we fans can cheer on the Nats at the stadium.

As usual I hope my numbers worked out right. This season had some extra confusions that were not fun.

I might continue this next year. Not sure, a week ago I was all set to call it quits, now??? I'm 5-1 out of the 9 seasons this has been done. At one time I thought of going back to the seasons that were not done (or I just couldn't find this kind of thread for) to try to get some continuity and a sense of completion. That probably won't happen this tracking stuff is tiring and I'm not as into it as I was 5-6 years ago.
