so Andrew Stevenson gets one game, against the best pitcher in baseball not on the Nats, and dog housed for a 2d division back up who has been out of the majors the past 2 years?
Taylor got a couple starts

I've never seen that view point where the female Mets fan looks at the male one

What a crappy home-stand. Let’s test our luck on the road!

Great point, FP.  Sloppy errors, boneheaded plays.  This game had a feel like the 9/3 game last year, before the come back in the 9th.

Yes. The bullpen looks a mess again.

Short season, you ride Suzuki until the wheels fall off.   Gomes is awful.   Only guy hitting on the entire team is Turner

You win the World Series, and four games later you're starting Emilio Bonifacio in the outfield while Starlin Castro bats third and you get Kermitted by two of your old pitchers.  Such is baseball.

Naw, Gomes behind the plate makes up for his bat. Suzuki can DH or learn first base.

I'd be more concerned if there weren't that rapidly growing bright light in the sky signalling our imminent extinction...it should hit right around the "OK Blue Jays" 7th inning stretch tomorrow.  2020

7 pitchers, to lose the game 5-1.  it's hard to think of a time that they've looked more pathetic than this (with reasonable expectations).
