100% fine with looking at 2021. It’s not like there hasn’t been a preventative shutdown before

Hopefully he can get through it without surgery. Pinched neck nerves are pretty annoying.

Doolittle to the 10-day IL with "right knee fatigue", Romero promoted. Go get 'em Seth!

1st pitch, he should hit Mr. Met, wherever he is.  always hit the mascot when you have a head case reputation.  Learned that from Bull Durham.

Absolutely devastating.  He was just starting to show his value.  Post season chances are now down below 50%.

So we are seeing Garcia, Kieboom, and Romero up now? May as well see what we have.

Kieboom absolutely needs to play everyday.  The problem is, right now he's probably the worst non-first baseman infielder in Nats modern history (dating back to 2011).

That's probably it for his career.

Meanwhile, Rendon is OPSing .925

dinger last night.

It's Rendon vs. Mookie.  There was a time I would have dreamed of that match up. 2016 2017

And the Trout is over 1.000, yet still 7-13.

Nats are 7-10, and Strasburg is likely never going to be as good or as healthy as he was in 2019.

Yeah, that’s not based on anything but your pathological pessimism and confirmation bias.

well, carpal tunnel is chronic so it may be a long term impact. Not a guaranteed fail, but this is worse than a broken hamate

And most people with "carpal tunnel" really gave tendonitis. In this case, they are calling it the actually neurological issue.

But either way, I cant think of any other vocation that puts that much pressure on a wrist .....
