It's great news. If he can even come back well enough to be useful in the pen for a few years, that's life-altering money for him and decent value out of a second-round pick for the team.

But once Henry is activated with an affiliate, expect the Nationals to carefully ease him toward a normal starter’s workload. At this point of the rebuild, there is no reason to rush.

4ks after 2 innings. Only one ball hit with any force (fly out to CF). Throwing the breaking ball strikes. Saw a 95 On the gun in the second

Done after 3. 33 pitches, 27 strikes. 5Ks, 1 hit, no walks

Struggled a bit with command in the 3rd, leaving some fastballs out over the plate that got hit hard. Still used the breaking ball well to get out of it.

Now .... we see how he is tomorrow. All in all, nice return for Henry.
