OK. I'll guess they don't want him to miss 2 years at this stage. Is the DR academy open for those down there not on the 60 man?

I know what you're saying, but it'd actually be even more than that. He's already (other than 3 games last year) missed two full years. The last game he played in Hagerstown was two years ago today (7/19/18). So if they didn't add him to the 60 this year, it'd be 32-33 months next April.

i talked to a friend who has a kid in the minors today, he said the plan is for an instructional league to begin in the fall in Florida for the minor leaguers not in the 60 man camps.

all this "in Florida" and "in Arizona" stuff isn't going to be easy. They would have a better chance of getting games in in Cuba.

I like the order. It isn't much different from last year and there's no need to make major changes to what worked (e.g. moving Turner to #3 and batting Robles lead-off). If the offense struggles early, then make some changes.

So it will likely be:

Turner - Eaton - Castro - Soto - Kendrick - Thames - Cabrera - Gomes/Suzuki - Robles
