Wut? Well. All except for Amaker's basketball players at Harvard. And any former Presidents that played Ivy baseball.
Reminds me of a fella I worked with. He was a Naval Academy graduate and played basketball as a Midshipman.I asked him who he got to write his Congressional recommendation. He laughed and said "Didn't need one...I was 6'6" in high school."He was a Plebe in the fall the same year that David Robinson graduated. He tells folks that he replaced The Admiral on the basketball team...

I didn't know that Karl Alzner was even still in the league. I spent some time speaking with Karl in 2015...he was a very genuine sort of guy...very much like Jay Beagle...but his career went in the dumpster once he joined the Habs...

No high school football in VA. https://www.insidenova.com/headlines/high-school-football-wont-be-played-this-fall-in-virginia/article_4764177a-c69c-11ea-9116-3729f709d286.html
at least in the fall. Probably makes sense to switch football to the spring and baseball to the fall.
the proposal is to entirely swap spring and fall seasons - if there's a second waive spring that would move to fall this year sports would be cancelled for a second straight season. If girls soccer and lacrosse (both big participation numbers) get canceled in favor of boys football, I'd hate to be responsible for county title IX compliance
CAA suspends fall football but gives teams authority to play on their own if they want. JMU is trying to play assuming the FCS is having a playoff.
Toronto denied MLB home games...
A country not accommodating a baseball team- shocking
Just a quick guesstimate but they are allowing about 1000 players, coaches and team officials into Canada for hockey (20 teams times 50 individuals per team). The only difference is that the travel is all at about the same time. Not really apparent how this is more risky. Bet they got a nice cut of the $ from the NBC networks and the league for having the hockey playoffs there.
24 teams for the first week or so in the NHL...Less travel as "visiting" NHL players will be in-country and remain in-country, with only Toronto based teams traveling to Edmonton. Seems a LOT less risky...much less travel to and from the US...
