The WWE unveiled a new "virtual" crowd last week called "Thunderdome" for their TV shows. The crowd is essentially hundreds of fans on video, kind of similar to what the NBA is doing but on a large scale.
On last night's WWE Raw broadcast, some of the virtual attendees:
- wore a KKK outfit
- displayed an image of Chris Benoit (a wrestler who years ago murdered his wife and son before taking his own life)
- showed video of an Al Qaeda execution
I'm not sure who thought allowing live, unfiltered fans on video was a good idea.
