What’s up with Soto?
heard from a very unreliable source, who heard it from a third cousin once removed of someone in MLB management, that the 'stros filed a secret formal complaint with the league office which in some convoluted way equated trash can banging with Soto's shuffling. maybe he's lost his shuffle.

Castro's stats seem highly unrealistic.  Is he on 'roids?

the .321 seems high, but he's done it before.  7 HRs puts him on a 15-20 pace, so that's realistic.

Castro is pretty streaky so i could definitely see him going like .300/12/40 in an 80-game stretch and then going .240/4/20 to finish it up.

History of juicing should totally be a stat/trait for trainer in ootp baseball

You should be able to control the players' diets, exercise regimens and 'roids intake on the fly.  That would be fun to see the outcome.

Example:  Have a player not eat anything all day and shotgun 8 beer and a double shot of 'roids right before game time and see what happens.

what would make it truly realistic is clusters of players/coaches going into quarantine after positive covid-19 tests.

Nats on the short end of a 3 game sweep by the cardinals - 0-6, 5-10, 2-5
4-6 last ten - braves now only 3 back

Nats just took 2 of 3 at home from the harperless phillies  9-2, (Scherzer 14K's), - 8- 3, 6-8
harper was out all 3 games with an unspecified injury
believe it is now time for the all-star break, do not know who made the squads yet

FWIW Baseball Reference is running a simulated season using OOTP:

https://www.baseball-reference.com/sim/leagues/MLB/2020.shtml

The Nats and Braves are tied at 59-38 for 1st in the NL East.  Juan Soto is having an MVP season: .341 / .444 / .676, with 29 HRs and 94 RBIs.

Scherzer is doing Scherzer things - 12-4, 2.69 ERA, 207Ks (36 more than Cole who is in 2nd place).

deGrom is 7-10, 3.07 ERA.

have there been protesters at Barves games asking them to change their name?  I mean, Barves surely annoys the gastroenteroligists at CDC in Atlanta.
