I'm still a DH guy even though I watch way more NL than AL. The NL is more of a managers game, which is why the big ego types like LaRussa and Maddon love it, but I'd rather see the best pitchers pitch and a more skilled hitter hit. A DH line up simply puts better talent on the field. Besides, most teams don't use a single DH in the AL now. Really, only Nelson Cruz, Soler, JD Martinez, Vogelbach, Renato Nunez, Miggy, and Khris Davis were qualified hitters with most of their PAs at DH, and I'd be comfortable with Soler, JD, and Davis in the field. The only two who fit the big lumbering stereotype are Miggy and Vogelbach, while Cruz is really the only old man hanging on (Miggy too, but I can't count him twice).
