MLB has rejected the 114 game season.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2020/06/03/mlb-rejects-players-union-proposal-114-game-2020-season/3136481001/

"The Athletic reported that there will be no further offers from MLB, in effect forcing the union to bring its 114-game ask down to a level that would enhance the chances of a full postseason"

What would that number be?  MLB wants few enough games to allow a full postseason, but I would think fans want enough games to allow a meaningful postseason.   You can't be serious about a postseason when you've played 50 games.  I think 100 would be the minimum.  I don't think I'd bother watching any of the postseason of a 50 game season, Even if the Nationals were in it.  I imagine alot of fans would feel that way too, defeating the purpose of a severely limited season, which is to generate revenue from a postseason.
