The way the schedule was put together...there could have been 3 bubbles...New York, Chicago and Los Angeles...cities with 2 MLB parks that could presumably host 5 games daily...or 4 with 1 day game at a nearby MiLB park.
They could barely get the current lose-lose scenario done in time to call it a season for TV and as revenue purposes. Plus, those cities had plenty on their plate on multiple levels in the month of June, which further dampened negotiations for that to get off the drawing board.
