I'm curious to how ESPN and RSNs are actually faring. They shouldn't be losing much from their primary revenue stream of carriage fees. Do they stop paying the leagues and NCAA while they aren't playing sports? RSNs ad revenue is almost meaningless. If they aren't paying the teams, but still collecting carriage fees, they could be raking in cash right now. ESPN relies a little more on ad revenue, but they are still taking in their ~$1 billion in carriage fees monthly and if they aren't paying rights fees, they are really stealing from their subscribers right now.
