What a botched play by the Bills - all they had to due is knock the pass to the ground - instead of trying to intercept the pass

Still an incredible catch in triple coverage.

Who ya got? Bears or Dinos?

I haven't seen a price for the series, but like Doosan and Alcantara in Game 1.  I liked Under 8 total runs, but it moved to 7.5, so I'll pass on that.

Me neither on the series.

I took the under 7.5 runs in game one.

Of course I also took the Bears tonight so what do I know.

It’s apparently now mandatory for every announcer to use “gash” play at least once each game.

Interesting how CBS didn't replay the activity which led to the injury.  It's not the same as when Joe Theisman played vs LT

Yeah. Looked like easy ACL tear. Probably more than that.

Has there ever been a QB who started out like a ball of fire but then reverted to terrible as Carson Wentz has? He was on track to be MVP in 2017 before his knee injury. Now he is just terrible.

Well other than RG III.

Jay Schroeder, perhaps? He had that monster season in 1986, fell out of favor in 1987, and was traded to the LA Raiders for Jim Lachey in 1988 in one of the great all-time steals. Never did much after that, IIRC, although I believe the Raiders did make it to the AFC Championship one year during his tenure (whether because he played well or in spite of his play is something I don't remember anymore).

Good one.  I don't remember him doing much with the Raiders but that was a while ago.  The weird thing about Wentz is that even though he was not great in 2018 or 2019 he didn't throw interceptions.  Now he is leading the league in those.  I wonder if the concussions have scrambled his brain and he is unable to read the defenses.  That one in the playoffs last year was really bad.

I looked up Schroeder's stats. In 1990 the Raiders went 12–4 and it appears he had a perfectly serviceable, but by no means outstanding, season, but he didn't have to be outstanding because the Raiders had Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson to carry the load. Schroeder threw for 2,849 yards that season, which isn't bad but also isn't comparable to his 4,109 yards for the Redskins in 1986, his only full year as the Redskins' starter. (He did, however, throw both 22 touchdowns and 22 interceptions during that 1986 season, whereas in 1990 he threw 19 touchdowns and only 9 interceptions. It's fair to note that in 1990 he also attempted 207 fewer passes than he did in 1986, again presumably because Allen and Jackson meant the Raiders didn't need to throw as much.)

No Thanksgiving night game. Moved to Sunday due to COVID. Will be a challenge for the NFL to finish the season.

At least ten Ravens including Jackson tested positive. I’m guessing they won’t play on Sunday.

All Bronco QBs ineligible for Sunday after three didn’t follow mask protocols. One other tested positive.  The team won’t forfeit. Maybe they just run a wildcat all game?

actually, that's right.  Flores might work out.  I'm not too down on judge yet.  As for O'Brien, his record wasn't awful but he had so much talent.
