Anyone else think this is going to be a sad final act? One of the greatest coaches of all time has been scheming around him turning essentially immobile - no decent teams are going to be in the market, on a bad team he's going to get crushed

Arians is a really good offensive coach and he’ll have great wide receivers there...but yea, I don’t see it ending well for Tom Terrific :(

that's what an arthritic knee will do you to.  Running backs generally don't last long in the NFL

I watched this guy play just about every game last season, he's a stud (except for throwing an INT on a potential game tying play at the end of the FCS national title game in January).  Great size, accurate, fairly mobile.  I doubt he gets drafted but he'll probably get an opportunity to attend a camp.

2019: 3,441 passing yards, 29 touchdown passes and six interceptions while completing nearly 71 percent of his passes. He also ran for 569 yards and seven touchdowns on 122 carries and led James Madison to the FCS Title Game where they lost to North Dakota State.

My impression is that Belichick isn't addicted to major conference QBs.  Jimmy G wasn't, Brissette I think was a major conference but not a big program.  Stidham is Auburn, of course, and Hoyer Michigan St., but I could see him going to an FCS kid.

even Brady was major, but not the starter

For a preview of how next week's NFL draft might go, check out the WNBA Draft (Friday 17th, 19.00, ESPN) - it's going to be set up in pretty much the same 'virtual' format.

The Patriots have traded Rob Gronkowski and a 7th round pick to Tampa for a 4th round pick.  I guess his WWE career is over already.

Hmmmmm Leroy the Dog was on point with this one.  Gronkie was kind of on the decline the last year he played but who knows, maybe the year off rejuvenates him.

The on-screen graphic kept showing Desmond Howard as a Packers draft pick in 1992. It was actually the Redskins who selected him.

...which should give some idea of just how far off the national radar the Redskins have become over the past quarter-century. With the exception of the still-disproportionate media coverage in their home market, the Skins have become almost as irrelevant as the Wizards.

pats have 1 2d and 4 3d rounders today.  Lots of potential for BB to show his genius.

The Eagles were panned for their pick also. I wouldn’t put too much stock in any of the draft experts. Didn’t the Giants get blasted last year off taking the QB who turned out to be good?

I tried watching last night. Just too boring. We never wear shoes in our house. The odd thing to me was everyone wearing dress shoes in their living room or TV room. Don’t those high heels the girls wear ruin the floors?

Most considered it a reach to take Jones when they did, they probably could have traded down or possibly gotten him in the 2nd round.  He had a decent rookie year, beating up on the crappy teams and looking like a rookie against Green Bay, NE, and the Vikings.  Getting the OT this year hopefully helps.

How do they cheat at the draft? False reports about prospects they want?

In contrast I think the OL the Jets drafted will blow up to 500 pounds and never play. The kid from Iowa who jumped out of four feet of water was impressive.

It may be early to call Doug Jones good— but yea, nfl is a crap shoot
