He's really good.  I don't watch any of the games he's broadcasting because he's doing so, but I do think his involvement makes games more of a "must see" event for some.

Agreed. He’s the best out there IMHO.

He’s getting a higher salary than 99 percent of Players made last year.

Increased rosters. Higher minimum salaries. A slightly larger share of revenue. Victory for the lower earning players. And fans with an additional game.

Anyone else think this is going to be a sad final act? One of the greatest coaches of all time has been scheming around him turning essentially immobile - no decent teams are going to be in the market, on a bad team he's going to get crushed

No, he will be fine for a year or two. I mean Manning won a Super Bowl with no arm left.

it probably depends where he ends up, San Diego and Tampa seem to be the last two options but I wonder if the Rams or 49ers would be willing to take a chance on him.  Both have the weapons he's looking for, and he's from California.

He can just sit out a year.

I was on a walk about when I heard the story and my first thought was "Willie Mays".

Rivers to the Colts.  Bridgwater to Carolina (Newton will likely be traded).

This is going to be a weird year.
