Ranked in the top 500 by Perfect Game, Werth currently plays for head coach Dan Simonds at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Werth recently competed in the Area Code Games, a multi-day showcase for the best 220+ high school baseball players from across the country.
Playing in 12 Perfect Game showcase games in 2020 and having a .393 batting average, Werth was named to Perfect Game's 2020 Preseason Underclassmen All-American Team. In addition to competing in a state tournament, Werth was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars in his junior year.
