Something Skippy put on Facebook:

Hey everyone we made it through! House started flooding which it’s never done before but I prayed to St. Jude and literally within 5 minutes the rain slowed then stopped and it was supposed to continue for many more hours, power of prayer people! Neighbor took pic of house this morning, it was quite scary to see how high that water got! No power and cell service is almost nil but we are so thankful that we and our animals are all safe 🙏
Thanks for posting that MG.

FBN just had a report from a journalist standing in a neighborhood next to a barge sitting in the grass amongst the homes. He said it’s 12 feet from the shoreline. This was in Pensacola.

a new storm is spinning up NW of the Yucatan, looks like we'll be in the greek letters very soon,  Teddy is heading straight for Bermuda as a Cat 2 or 3.

there's some projections for TEddy that it is heading to Maine / NH.

you meant  Hyannis.  Or maybe Chappaquiddick.  We'll cross that bridge we get to it.

the ones I think CBS showed last night had the cluster on shore.  I'm guessing there's a little meandering.

given how far out we are, it wouldn't take a major shift to bring it toward the coast.

After Teddy passes Bermuda, some models suggest high pressure over the North Atlantic could force it to make a rare, hard left turn toward Maine or the Canadian Maritimes, while others suggest it will curl away, remaining over the ocean. Any effects to North America are likely at least five or six days away, if this happens. Regardless, the storm is likely to generate large ocean swells and rip currents along the East Coast.

probably the two places in the country where a hurricane Delta would somehow fit in are at the mouth of the Mississippi and at Hartsfield.

Delta now a Cat-4 storm, should weaken a bit and looks to be on a on track to hit west of Louisiana, in a similar spot as Laura, as a Cat 2 or 3 storm.

Watching the Weather Channel showing downed power lines in Lake Charles is bumming me out.  Having gone through it a few weeks ago, as they had done a few weeks before us, I can't imagine how awful this is for them.  I'd lose my mind if I had to go through it all  over again just as it was starting to get back to normal :(

NBC showed last night that there are piles of debris everywhere from Laura that are going to airborne.

I think most buildings still have tarps over holes. Those go right away. Then all the debris becomes projectiles. Awful.

Delta is passing thru my neck of the woods saying hi. No wind, just a nice steady rain.
