We got a few inches of rain in the Orlando area from the outer bands of Sally. Big storm.
And then there were seven:(Image removed from quote.)
NHC now saying Sally is likely to reach Cat-3 before making landfall.
Has anyone heard from Skippy about plans to take on this hurricane ?
I’m here we went through a cat 3 in 2004 with Ivan and a cat 2/borderline 3 the next year with Dennis so I really wouldn’t be concerned this time but my street is kind of in a valley in my neighborhood, we’ve come sooooooclose to flooding a couple times so if this is a Harvey-like storm I’m probably a screwed I have flood insurance so I’m not worried about my stuff but we’ve got 4 dogs and a cat, the idea of having to evacuate with my menagerie makes me
a bit of good news, none of the other storms in The Atlantic are heading this way, all the models show Teddy turning out to sea and Vicky falling apart.
Historic life-threatening flash flooding is likely through Wednesday along and just inland of the coast from the western Florida Panhandle to far southeastern Mississippi. Widespread moderate to major river flooding is forecast along and just inland of the central Gulf Coast. Significant flash and urban flooding, as well as widespread minor to moderate river flooding, are likely across inland portions of Mississippi, Alabama, northern Georgia, and the western Carolinas through the week.
Well, if dealing with the models is leading to Vicky falling apart, I suggest she not let them body-shame her and just recognize her inner beauty.
It was exactly 16 years ago today on the 16th that Hurricane Ivan hit and now Sally is coming ashore in the exact same spot, crazy. Pretty gnarly out now, hopefully doesn’t get too much worse before she fizzles out
Glad to see the category number didn't increase.
It did, it’s a cat 2 as of now so it’s a bit higher than the tropical storm we all thought we were getting
hope it is going ok. Check in when you can.

we'll see if you get as many well wishes as Skippy. Take care of yourself.
She's OK...power issues, but they are safe in their home...
