yeah, the one nearer to the Yucatan doesn't look like it will even reach TS strength.

NHC now showing TS Marco hitting the Texas coast and Hurricane Lauren hitting South Florida early next week.  Both storms would be in the Gulf of Mexico by Tuesday.

Crazy flooding around Richmond today.

I got 8 inches of rain in less than 24 hours.  Spent the weekend dealing with flooded basements at both my house and my mom's house.  Gotten around 20 inches since Aug 1, according to my rain gauge.

Would have preferred to have all that a few weeks ago when my grass was getting fried and dying.

Where are you?

He's in Chesterfield County...on the ritzy side of the James River...

Floodwaters never breached the creek walls in our backyard...but the water was rushin' by at a pretty fair pace...

How often do we get 2 hurricanes hitting on the same day?  Hope FEMA's up  for it. Oh, and not to  get too political, it's in the middle of the RNC.  IIRC, the RNC moved in 2012 to avoid a hurricane.

Good luck Skippy.

by the way, who writes the scripts for "2020" series?  I mean, this year is like trying to figure out what Loki's going to do.

Caps went out early though so seems a regular year.  2018 was the crazy year.

Laura is trending a bit further south, could get disrupted by Cuba and Hispanolia.
