Cleaning out some stuff and came across a Pops Staples' album I bought 20+ years ago.  Good stuff.  Pops was the crap.

Are there any paranoids in the audience tonight?  Is there anyone who worries about things?  Pathetic.

Yes - about every other week.  Instead of paranoid, 2IPAs just refers to me as comfortably numb

Week and a half before election day.  I'll guess he isn't covering Little Feat's Apolitical Blues as the first single.

One of the contestants on jeopardy this week talked about seeing George Harrison strumming a guitar backstage at a show in the 1980s and asking him if he knew any Zeppelin. George laughed.

Not a friendly laugh I would guess.

He implied George thought it was funny.

So, here is an old fart music question: I am listening to Layla right now, and blown away by Duane, which begs the question, which musician who died prematurely from the classic rock genre would you think have recorded the most interesting music had he or she lived a normal length of days?  I think I could make a case for Duane just for how the ABB would have turned out plus his work with other musicians. Hendrix, of course,on his own creativity,  and I  will tip my hat to Ronnie Van Zandt for his group, but if you give me Steve Gaines, too.

SRV is the most facile guitarist of all time.  He would have made great music.
