Carson Wentz sings?

He’d likely suffer an ACL injury on his way to the stage.

I went to the concert at Nats Park, but had to leave early because of the early metro closure and a flight to New Hamster the next morning.

The Core, by Clapton and Marcy Levy on the Slow Hand album. 8:44 of bliss.

This song has been in my head when I bike.   Great vocals and guitar, with a rare sax on a Clapton song.  Levy gets the co-writer credit on this and Lay Down Sally.  She does as much work as him on the singing on this one.

If you freeze the clip at 2:50 and 3:40...those pictures were taken in July of 1969 at an event I was at where Delaney & Bonnie performed...in a gravel alley...behind The House Of Lewis leather shop, In downtown Skokie, IL.  I posted some of those pictures last year.  This is the one at 2:50:

MDS may remember the House of Lewis...

Here are some more of those pictures from that day, and a link to the article:

House of Lewis was way before my time but my aunt took my cousins to this when it happened and still talks about it.

you have to say how awful those lyrics and the Stoner lyrics generally are in order to justify your playing this song for research purposes only.

I'll listen to it later, but I remember when More than a Feeling came out.  Used to listen to it summer 1976 when I was a counselor at summer camp (late after eating Vinnie's Pizza).

Pretty darn close to a perfect record.
