Yes. But sometimes I’m surprised I’m alive.

I remember being surprised years ago by how much younger he was than he appeared. He was only 50 when filming Cocoon and was much closer in age to Brian Dennehy than to the other older actors and actresses, Don Ameche was 26 years older than Brimley and Jessica Tandy was 25 years older. Between the commercials and other movie roles like in The Firm, he always seemed much older than he was, so, yeah, I can see being surprised that he was still alive.

Maybe the same thing with Abe Vigoda. Since he was already looking old in his most famous roles in The Godfather and Barney Miller, despite being in his 50s, he famously spent decades dealing with rumors or jokes that he was already dead from the 1980s until he finally passed away in 2016.

Persons of my generation will remember 'Game of Love' (1965).

Posting a famous person’s name and a link in the Deaths of Famous People thread with no additional comment is probably not the best way to proceed

he was younger in The Firm than Tom Cruise is now, and yet he looked like he was in his late 60s.

He's had a rough few years, losing both his legs to diabetes.  I remember watching him as a kid, he was one of the reasons I turned more toward the athletic style of Mid-Atlantic wrestling, which eventually became WCW, and away from the cartoon show come-to-life of the then WWF.  RIP.

BTW, he pronounced Kamala different from Harris, her's sounds like "Pamela", his had the emphasis on the first syllable (Kah'-Mal-a).  The name is actually of Hindi origin (Kamala Harris's father is of Indian descent)

That his actual last name is "Harris" is kind of a neat twist.

To be fair, if Sen. Kamala Harris had died, I don’t think the first place we’d be hearing about it would be on WNFF.

I thought I read it was kidney related, which could be attributed to diabeetus or just being over 80.  I was a big fan of his work.
