My brother just sent a message saying wussy Galore died today at age 94.

James Bond is so timeless. I had no idea she could be that old.

One of the greats.

That would be Bernie Leadon. But I think he’s still alive.

Very sad.  I've been seeing him a lot lately (online) in my musical explorations, he was clearly weakening as he aged, not surprised that he could be vulnerable.

Such an immense contribution to music, his songs, already covered by artists galore, will simply live on forever.

His wife’s posts are absolutely heartbreaking.
I will have to pass on that.  Every time some athlete dies early it brings back memories of others I followed and who have also left way too early. Pelle Lindbergh. Sean Taylor. Etc. Of course Kobe Bryant more recently.

“Ma’am, on behalf of the President of the United States, the United States Army, and a grateful nation, please accept this flag as a symbol of our appreciation for your loved one’s honorable and faithful service.”

Those of you who have been to military funerals will understand how the protocol is different during the pandemic:

Morphine and muscle relaxants also. It’s been reported previously that he had been in rehab for addiction to pain killers. He seems to have been suffering from severe depression from other articles I have read. Sad story. As a fan you root for a guy like this because of how focused and competitive he was but in the end those same traits ended up being flaws that killed him. Hope his family can have some peace.
