I have this urge to rush over to Tysons to visit the Redskins team store outside Nordstrom, but then my practical side says, "What for? You aren't going to wear any of it anyway."

I would guess that the Cleveland Indians are next. It’s actually quite simple for them; just use the really old Spiders name. Heck, all they would need to change is the front of the home uniforms that currently say Indians.

I read that tweet. Someone is going to make a crap ton of money because they trademarked a bunch of names (including Warriors, Red Wolves, Warriors).

He didn't get Wolves though. Washington Wolves sounds good.

Hey, maybe something good will come of it.

But apparently, there's a school that has Redwolves as their mascot, and another school wants to use Red Wolves. So now a judge has to decide if Redwolves covers Red Wolves, as well as if Red Wolves is a generic enough term that you can't trademark it (like Tigers or Bears).
