For real.  This is a guy who is almost 30 who has never before had the choice of where he wants to work and where to live most of the year. 

He had one shot at choosing where he and his family are going to live and where his kids are going to grow up while still able to maximize his income (or come close to it).  I can't begrudge the man his choice, and it strikes me he made a much better one than some other recent free agent moves out of DC. 

I don't know.  OC is really really crowded, like worse than Tysons crowded over a larger scale.  I wish him well, but it's not where I'd want to live.
