You picked a good time to start

There's a "kid" I saw play HS ball on the team and my neighbor is a Colgate grad so yes   ....   In this case, I'm a front runner.

Colgate coach is a philly area kid. Played at Penn. assistant at Temple. I think he will be moving to the big time soon.

Then it's settled, "Let's go Raiders !"

OT   He may have recruited the "kid" from W. PA who played at Temple a few years ago.

Possibly.

Colgate is my preferred toothpaste also so can’t go wrong with that.

The Temple recruit played for the same HS as the "kid" on Colgate.    There's a good chance they (coach and current player) met a few years ago.

I went there - the last two years are the best stretch they’ve had that I can remember

CAA tournament in DC. Maybe W&M will finally make it?

I looked into going there for a Radford game in December. Very little parking. There’s a nearby metro but it doesn’t look like a great area. Anyone been there?

It’s on the grounds of St. E’s.

I have not been there, but I understand it's about a five-minute walk from the Congress Heights Metro stop. I doubt I'd worry much if I were going to a game there, as I'd figure the presence of other people going to the same event might help ("safety in numbers" kind of thing), similar to how I never worried much about parking down in Buzzard Point for Nats games in the years before Audi Field construction began.

I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable in that part of town if I were not attending a game, however. I've driven through that area on Martin Luther King Avenue. It's certainly not the roughest part of DC I've ever been to by any means, but I don't feel it's an area where I'd belong.

Terps win a share of the B1G title. Disappointing given they had a three game lead four games ago.

It's Radford. :)

Yeah, one of those games where their opponent hits seemingly almost every 3 pointer they take.  At one point Hampton was shooting around 60% from the 3 point line.

Winthrop won the conference today easily beating Hampton.

W&M plays Elon at 6 PM tonight in the Patriot league.

Particularly painful for them this year though. They won 21 games and the top player in the conference.

It’s happened before. They always find a way (to not make it).
