If you ever get back, try to get a close look at the field, it's artificial but covered with shredded coconut husks to make it softer and cooler.

there isn't a single top-30 prospect at Fredricksburg. When you think about how bad our top 30 is, outside of the top 3 pitchers and Garcia, that is something.

That looks like fun. Though for me the time and expense of getting to a game there is about triple that of going to a Nats game, so I shall enjoy it vicariously through these excellent dispatches from the field.

In 2016 I went to my first game at Wrigley Field. The Cubs won the World Series that Year.

In 2019 I took my dad to his first game at Nationals Park. The Nats won the World Series that year.

In 2020 I mailed Anthony a Brad Blount Baseball Bat opener and told him to hang on to it until the Dodgers got their series win. They won the World Series that year.

Tonight I went to watch the 0-15 Fredericksburg Nationals for the first time. Their record is now 1-15.

You know how they talk about baseball gods?

This is probably the best explanation. Occam's Razor eliminates simpler explanations that rely on fewer assumptions. This is the most rational and simplest.
