Honestly, I am glad we still have a team here.  It could be worse.  I just hope we have a season.

Hopefully the Major League guys still rehab there, that was the primary reason to attend games in Potomac all these years (or to occasionally see someone on their way up like Robles, Soto, and Alex Meyer.).  The 2019 team was pretty awful, I think only Reetz had major league potential.

I hope so too.
Agree with you about 2019 - rough year.  I hope Reetz gets his shot.  He does have potential and he is a super nice guy.  I like to see guys like him get ahead.

For those outside the FXBG area, the Fred Nats are doing a lot to assure the public here that they will have a season with fans in the stands.
This could be merely to get people to buy tickets, but I thought I would share.

I hope so, that's a really nice stadium and it would be great to see a game there this year.

I don't see how they expect virginia to be in a condition to allow that. The vaccine isn't being rolled out fast enough to get the population vaccinated and there is no way to offer in person to vaccinated people only. This seems like a total cash grab to help service construction debt

Public sporting events aren't super high risk, we have close to a year of data on this now.

We have almost no data with venues near normal capacity

gonna guess 20% capacity, and if distribution, J&J, Astra Zeneca get added, you might see everyone who want an injection get some by end of June.  Fred Nats aren't starting until May, right?  I could see butts in the seats by July, at least with reduced capacity.

A vaccine give-away promotion might be interesting.

Drove up to F'sburg this morning and picked up a 2 seat 15 game mini-plan.  Was able to pick some pretty choice seats considering they are nearly sold out given the current capacity allotment of 1,000...

We got the George Plan...all but 1 game is a night game.  1 hour drive from the house door-to-door...total price $352.00...or about $12.00 a ticket...

I left my Nats cap in my locker at work yesterday, and I took off early to watch the double-header.  I decided to drop by Fred Nats stadium to pick up a new cap, and the team was working out.  The first game was on the big screen, so I watched the game and the workout as I slowly picked up a new cap.
The stadium looks great and seeing the guys out there practicing made me more eager than ever to see a real game in this park.
Loving my new cap too.   I do wish that the double header against the Braves went better, but it was a great day.
GO NATS!!!
