Awards dont tell the tale of our season. MLB voters are mad we won.
I believe the voting was all down just after the regular season.

It'll be interesting how Soto's playoffs impact All Star voting.  Barring injuries, you'd figure Yellich, Acuna, and Bellinger would still have a case for making it ahead of Juan, then there's always Juan-lite in Phillie who gets hype votes.  2 of those first 3 could be selected MVP.

Exactly. Before the playoffs Acuna got all the oxygen leaving Soto with dust. But everyone knows him now.

How does he win the Warren Spahn with Ryu being nominated for a Cy Young?

Because voters are dumb.

Edit: I looked it up. Apparently it’s based on a formula that includes ERA, winning percentage and strikeouts. I assume the strikeouts are weighted more heavily than other stuff.

Schildt wins NLMOY. Davey finishes fifth.  Counsel had the most first place votes.

This award is now a joke. For deGrom to win it consecutively with 10 and 11 win seasons is a freaking joke. Wouldn't have happened if he was playing somewhere than NY.

Max got a ring. :)

Apparently there’s an error in the reporting. Max is likely to end up in third

deGrom was head and shoulders the better pitcher.

Yea, innings. You know, what you accumulate when you're on the field instead of the IL?

Tell it to Stras.  deGrom doesn't even merit if he plays on the Twins or Marlins.

Lol, keep telling yourself that. Hernandez won it with 13 wins in Seattle.

Ya'll need to get past the idea of pitcher wins having anything to do with how good a pitcher is.

Max came in second. How many wins did he have?

The way I see it today is a multimillion dollar day. If Rendon walks away with that MVP today the price tag goes up by millions.
