When is the Parade?

Are any of you thinking about bringing beach chairs or is that a stupid idea?  I know there's no chance you'll be able to sit during the actual rally, but if I get down there 3 hours early, it would be nice to have a seat.

In addition to MASN and MLB Network, WJLA 24/7 (old Newschannel 8 ), NBC 4 and WUSA 9 are all carrying it. The latter two will move their respective coverage to their digital sub channels at some point due to college football.

Walking to Metro now. Bought a ticket to the Newseum so I can check it out before they close for good plus they have a terrace on the 6th floor that might be a good viewing spot.

plenty on 7th between Gallery and Penn. Up towards fed triangle metro there's Harry's on E between 11th and 12th, elephant and castle on Penn at 12th. Near metro center on g near 13th is Astro ( formerly  mackeys)

Doolittle is very liberal and doesnt hide that. Doesnt really come as a surprise. Doesnt bother me in the slightest. The people that matter are going anyways.

I hope everyone who is able to go has an experience to last a lifetime. I am unable to walk or stand for too long, so I will be watching on TV. Maybe it'll remind me of Super Bowl XXII in 1988, when I was watching the celebrating on TV after the victory, realized I was living literally a half a mile from Wisconsin and M, and got off my lazy butt and joined in.

I was going to go to the parade, but decided to watch it on the tube instead.
