I’ve found mass quantities of alcohol makes it easier.
Blue - it sounds like you have a database
Wear red but the entire WS we wore blue uniforms?Me personally I will wear blue because its more fun to stick out in a sea of red especially if you end up in a major crowd thats wearing all RED
Did you watch the games?
I keep my observations in a spiral notebook.
Metro is producing commemorative Smartrip cards and taking pre-orders now.https://www.wmata.com/about/news/world-series-smartrip.cfm
From what i saw on FOX5 the rally stage is being set up in the middle of Pennsylvania at 3rd St. Really dumb decision to have it on the road versus the Mall. My only guess is that something is happening at the mall and they couldnt have it there. Otherwise it will be in the middle of the road. Dont really agree with that but hey its their parade.
Not on the mall. The rally location makes no sense to me. I am sure there is a reason not on the mall, but I don't know how the setup will work.
I'm sure this is how it will work. People standing on the mall side of Consititution Ave will just mosey down to the end of the mall.
Can anyone here confirm that the rally stage will be on the Mall? It would make sense but I haven't seen that reported to be the case.
it will not be on the Mall. They are building it with a back to 3d St at the intersection with Penn.
So for the big dumb dummy in the room with no spatial awareness of the district because I literally only go to work and ball games, where should I go to be around the rally portion and how do we estimate that I should be there.
Truly you cannot be this obtuse?Rally is at Pennsylvania and 3rd.
Sent you a PM with a map and description.
Can I get the map too.
Link to DC Parade Guide.https://sportscapital.dc.gov/sites/default/files/dc/sites/sportscapital/page_content/attachments/2019%20Nationals%20Championship%20Parade%20Community%20Guide.pdfThere will be 3 CaBi bike corrals as well as a corrals for dockless bikes and scooters. If you are coming in on the Red line, Judiciary Square is a few blocks closer than Gallery Place to the end of the route and the rally site. Lets you out between 4th & 5th on E, near the Building Museum. You can walk down 3d, or maybe cut across some lots. I don't recall. I know that there's a pedestrian plaza next to the courthouse between Penn and C, but I don't know about C to D and D to E. Blue Orange Silver best bet is probably Federal Triangle, while for the Yellow and Green Archives / Penn Quarter is the best bet.
Rally is at Pennsylvania and 3rd. I think its pretty clear thats where you want to be. Also get there early (10AM at latest if you want a decent spot)
10 AM? And stand around for 5 hours? Who's going to do that?
people will be there for much longer than that
