We can no longer defend it but need to find a way to get it back.

Gotta reload the rotation. The dodgers aren’t going anywhere for a while.

We're still defending as far as I'm concerned.  This "season" was a sham.

It's a fact in my mind :P ;)

37% of games played — in front of no fans for almost all of it, then neutral sites for the later playoff rounds — after the training halt and uncertain restart certainly puts it in its own category

its funny how the dodgers...one of the biggest payroll teams in baseball can only win a fake asterik season with no crowds and a perceived home advantage playing 2 hours south of LA.

At least with hockey and NBA they played 85% of their regular seasons prior to the playoffs.

Baseball this year was completely and utterly boring. Didnt help that the Nats literally looked like the same team as last year until the end but still. 60 game season is a sham and I just wish the Rays would have won. Would have been nice to see a moneyball team beat the paywhale.

I seem to remember a kerfuffle involving the umpires and base paths

Nothing wrong at all?  Is Arlington, TX "two hours south of LA" on Earth, or only in your head?

The sights and sounds of TX foul poles should put us back on topic.

For anyone who may want something celebratory, I got an e-mail from the Wine Attic in Clifton saying they have some Nats championship sparkling wine on sale. See link below. The store is in the town of Clifton just south of the railroad crossing. I have no affiliation with it other than having been a satisfied customer several times since we discovered the store this summer, but I figured it was reasonable to promote this particular item on this particular forum!

Strasburg’s bus got stopped in front of our section for a good long time. I think a chorus of “we want hugs“ eventually surfaced

*Edited because I can actually post the pics in here from my laptop and not my phone*

Back in October of 2019 when the Washington Nationals were making a historic postseason run, I opted to keep my Postseason ticket strip intact. I was hoping the Nationals would pull off the nearly impossible task of knocking out the Brewers, Cardinals, Dodgers and Astros. My fingers were crossed that someday I would be able to look back with fond memories of attending my first WC game, my first NLCS game and my first World Series game. The following November for my birthday present, my mom offered to have them custom framed for me. I’m so stoked to be able to hang this on the wall when it is complete.

Pretty amazing to think that of the starting 8, only Gomes, Turner, Soto, and Robles are left.
