There's more than few who are pretty regular on this message board, so the comment was mostly for their benefit. DPM, Cory, NAW, etc...
One of my friends that worked for the Expos back in the 1990’s sent me a 1994 Official World Series baseball. That was the year (1994) as most of you know the World Series never happened due to the players strike. It was also the year most thought the Expos had their best team as favorites to win the World Series. I wonder if that ball would have any meaning to one of them?

Go Nats!!!

In case anyone needs to hear this today, The Nationals are Defending World Series Champions and the Phillies and the Braves can’t say that.

Hudson also said he just saw Yan Gomes at Jeremy Hellickson’s wedding and Gomes confirmed he still has the ball from the final out of Game 7. Hudson hoping they can work out a “joint custody” arrangement.

I became an Expos fan because in the early 90s I used to regularly attend their Single-A Affiliate games in Burlington IA. That coupled with the fact that the Expos were stacked with prospects in the 90s turned me into a fan of the big league team.

I have no connection to the city of Montreal. So when they moved to DC it just meant my team moved to a new city and got new uniforms.

Dave Martinez is now the only World Series-champion manager of the 2010s still with the team where he won the title.

Can confirm, they are not the 2019 World Series champions.

I went to a game at Camden (granted, it was against the Nats) and got in a car wreck the next day. Screw the Baltimore Gloryholes.

I wonder if this is like the Supreme Court seating order.  Now that Rendon is gone, does  Trea move over to fill his spot, Soto to Trea's, etc, and Castro or Thames get wedged in on the end where Robles is?

It may have more to do with which side of the plate does the 1st baseman bat, for the Nats batting order will still try to alternate leth & right handed batters.

we'll figure that out at the end of October next year (hopefully) :)

that will be difficult if soto moves to the #3 slot as you are looking at Turner/Eaton/Soto/Howie as the top 4.

Is Robles still at the bottom?  I'm expecting some improvement from him.

A really great read. Still gets me all misty.

And it was not a straight line up after 19-31.  Following that Sept. 3 9th inning comeback game against the Mets, things went south for a couple of weeks.  Makes it all the more amazing.
