You guys---I just had to come and give a big congratulations on behalf of Dodger fans everywhere (well, at least on behalf of myself).  I hope the Dodgers will get a win in my lifetime (I was three last time they won, and obviously have no memory.). If we had to lose, I would have way rather lost to you than the Astros.  Way to rep the National League and bring some pride back.  You know this is a big deal when every NPR podcast is talking about the Nats more than they are talking about the news.  What a big day for Washington DC.  Celebrate well, and I'll see you back on this chat board in the 2020 playoffs!  Classy fans and classy team.  Celebrate well and take work off tomorrow!

I have been just absolutely loving the response from fans and other teams. The caps were having their Halloween party tonight and watching the game. They went absolutely wild when we won. It's so amazing to watch the love between the nats and caps. Ever since the cup went to the park it brought that winning attitude to the ball club. Ovi and the caps have no idea how huge they were in making this city believe in themselves again.

I am so glad I stuck to my routine. Every single away game i went to the gym during the game. Tonight I wore the shirt I wore to my first nats game ever. God damn was it a roller coaster and I am glad I got to share it with you all.

I was 10 years old in ‘71 when my beloved Senators left town. I cried & gave up on MLB until high school watching the Oews.
Once the NATS came to town my wife and I were all in!
So damn happy tonight! Only possible better outcome would be if they got to beat the damn Yankees.
