mlb doc was more for a national audience.  But at least the MLB doc had more baby shark.

I'd like to see MASN do a season-long doc.  Lot's of good stories.
Gonna be honest, I thought that's what this was going to be. Would have liked them to cover the 2018-2019 offseasons, the rough start, Baby Shark, and all the way through the season. Also would have liked to hear them talk about scheming for the Astros more.

Too bad they did not have some real time discussions about  kieboom's call up and being sent down, or some of the questioning about whether to can Davey after the start.  I certainly would have wanted some on the 9/3 Mets game, knocking out 3 or so playoff contenders head to head even before the playoffs (Philly, Cleveland, and ???), maybe something on Fedde / Ross / Voth filling  in for hellickson and Scherzer when they were out.  That last point I think is an overlooked key to WC home field.

They played clips leading up to the stage presentation at the parade that looked like they were past of the same production. They may have done that production mainly starting with the playoffs, akin to the Cap Road to the Cup (which also appeared to make up much of what was shown -- via Comcast -- before their stage presentation.

For a network presumably looking for content, rolling out a doc covering more territory would stand to reason. Then again, this is all under the umbrella of Angelos TV, which seems to play into so much.

And it’s really good. But almost no mention of baby shark.

The definition/use of standard deviation is incorrect.  +/- 1 standard deviation is 90%, not 95%

Er, normal distribution would be 68/95/99.7, for 1/2/3 SDs, right?

I love it when you stats guys talk stats. After three undergrad stat courses and then another at the grad level it still seems so dense to me. And even after Using stats frequently at work (with the assistance of real statisticians of course).

Yes. Although I’m certain that this data set isn’t normally distributed.

Yes - I figured the error was just a typo

I wouldn't expect it to be, either.  Heavier tails than a normal distribution, probably on both sides.

Zimm's writing isn't very good either.

My Nationals pajama pants, which I believe I bought in 2012 or 2013, ripped so badly down the middle last week that I had to throw them away. At least they got to see a title.

a couple of folks posted on Reddit that WS jerseys (the Nike blue) are 50% off at the team store in D.C., and other WS merchandise is 50% off.

My Howie Kendrick jersey finally arrived. It's not the jersey they wore during the World Series, but it has a World Series Championship patch which is the important part.

It's the first Nationals jersey I have ever owned.

Just finished reading Jesse Dougherty’s book “Buzz Saw: The Improbable Story of How the Washington Nationals Won the World Series”.  I really enjoyed it. It’s a fun ride through the ups and downs of the 2019 season and I enjoyed reliving it. He also has some intriguing behind-the-scenes nuggets, and some fascinating background info on players, coaches, and the FO.

I was able to get it at the library if you don’t want to buy it. It was a good read, especially since there’s no baseball now. I recommend it.

It’s an easy read. He has a light style and doesn’t get bogged down with reams of stats like some baseball writers.

Anthony Rendon got his Nats World Series ring this morning. What is he going to do with it?

“Find the closest pawn shop,” he said, staring deadpan. He finally busted out laughing and said he was kidding.

Gonna miss him a lot this year

Has there ever been a player as good as Rendon who seems to absolutely hate baseball?
