So, being as this was everyone's first Christmas as fans of the World Series Champion Washington Nationals, what kind of sweet sweet World Series loot did y'all score?

I got the following.

- Embroidered Pennant with the team logos of every post season series.
- "Fight Finished" hoodie
- World Series Documentary Blu-Ray/DVD set
- A credit at the local frame shop to have my post season strip framed.
- Gerardo Parra signed World Series baseball with "19 WS Champions" inscription. (I was a tad bit obsessed with the Baby Shark craze last season.)

There's multiple DVDs on the world series but I would prefer one with the whole season starting in spring training and ending with game 7. I haven't seen anything other than world series DVDs.

I've re-watched most of the clinching games now through mlb.tv.  All full and condensed regular season and post season games are available for subscribers from last year or for $25 to watch through the off season.

I still don't think I've fully processed this.  It's real, but it feels like a dream.  Heady times.

The owner of my favorite microbrewery (Lost Colony - http://lostcolonybrewery.com/) grew up in Manhattan and is a die-hard Mets fan.  Now he asks me why I never wear anything but a Nats shirt or Nats sweatshirt.

2IPAs made a comment tonight that when we go out, I used to wear "nice" clothes.  And now, all I wear are Nats tshirts or Nats sweatshirts.

It's been that way ever since the World Series.

FP tweeted that in the 2010's the Nats were 879-740, won the NL East title 4 times, the WC once, and of course, closed out the decade with a WS win.  That's a heck of a run.

It's not even scheduled yet on FIOS, so don't try to tape it yet.

Two months ago tonight, foul poles had tolled in Houston and in about a half - hour from now, Hudson's glove went flying

watched the documentary tonight.  Amazing.  We rewound and rewatched the Howie game seven home run about 5 times.

by wins, they don't mean World Series, do they? Because LA and NY would not be listed.

I'd like to know the breakdown from 2012 or even 2011.

I broke out my 6 Foco WS edition bobbleheads today to add to my display.

MVP Stras
Scherzer
Soto
Eaton

And Rendon.

I almost left him in the box but my wife said, he did play a big part right?

Not having Howie...makes me question my drunk binge buying habits.

Watched it and cried happy tears again. So so happy!!!

I’m so happy and still have that “mission accomplished” feeling that I could care less right now about the 2020 season. It’s probably gonna take a bitter walk off homer by Bryce Harper & the Phillies to get the juices flowing again.

Until then, I’ll be at Happy Hour somewhere. Cheers!!!

Same reaction a bit.

I watched the last half hour this weekend on MLB network (I think Sunday ending at noon) which flowed into an MLB Network thing on the history of the expos.  The intro to the Expo film used to start with Pedro's shoutout in '04 during the Sox victory celebration.  Now they've replaced it with his comments to Montreal after the Nats win this year.  Pretty nice for those who followed them after the move here.
