stupid comparison.  Castro had 2 more years playing before age 29 than Jeter. 

Brock Holt not a bad idea.

That makes a ton of sense.  Holt's offensive numbers were down a couple years ago due to a concussion that he was slow to come back from, but the versatility is terrific.  He would not embarrass himself if he played some 1st base, he could certainly hold 2d until Kieboom or Garcia is ready, and he plays pretty well in the OF.  He doesn't hit like a corner OF, but for depth he's not bad.  Best use would be as a super utility or 2d baseman.  Played with Rendon Rendon's freshman year at Rice.
