He hit .226/.281/.413 in the second half. That's prett meh, even for a catcher. Hes basically a backup catcher

Not sure what you expect for a platoon with Suzuki?  Less wear and tear likely will help him from having that 2nd half dip after an AS 1st half.  He's at least equal to Gomes, and half the cost.
